Par pur plaisir

“For the Sheer Pleasure of it”

“I named the little characters in my works, the Elusives.

What I like when I add these to my works is that it gives them a living dimension. As if for a moment, we had access to their universe, and their inner or imaginary world. We have access to all their colors and subtleties.

Basically, these little beings are part of a great whole, of an immensity. Isn’t that actually what we ourselves are on the planet?”

Original 3-D mixed media abstract painting with tiny glass figurine by Canadian artist Mélanie Giguère.
