What Will You Leave Behind by Kimberly Kiel

What inspires you?  The outdoors

What is your favourite colour?  I’m particularly drawn to those lovely autumn colours.

What was your first job?  Technically it was babysitting, then I ramped up into decorating birthday cakes (I decorated so many Ninja Turtle cakes) and teaching piano lessons.

Are you an early bird or a night owl?  Definitely an early bird

What is your guilty pleasure?  Cracking open a brand new book, and ok, I might steal my boys’ Lindt chocolates.  😉

What is your hidden talent?  Falling off of my bike when it’s at a standstill and I have both feet on the ground.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?  Be able to heal anything.

What is your kryptonite?  Taking on too many things.

What is your signature dance move?  I LOVE to dance to pretty much anything, but West Coast swing is my favourite dance.

What never fails to make you laugh?  My boys’ laughter

What is your favourite way to recharge?  Sitting outside in my yard with a good book.

What is your favourite drink?  Tea

What is your favourite food?  Popcorn!  And my oldest son makes THE BEST popcorn.

What is your favourite movie?  I have always loved the original Toy Story.

What is your favourite place you have travelled?  We had a magical trip across Canada before our boys joined us.  I’d love to repeat that trip with them.

What place would you love to go where you haven’t yet travelled?  The Canadian North.  It is definitely on the list.

Favourite thing to listen to while creating new art?  CKUA!

If you could be any animal, what would you be?  A hummingbird.  They are remarkable little creatures.

What is one thing about you that no one would ever expect?  We have planted over 8,000 trees and shrubs in our yard… mostly by hand.
