Growing up on Southern Vancouver Island, she developed a profound connection to the natural wonders that surrounded her— from the sandy shores to the towering forests and majestic mountains of the west coast.
While Monica embarked on a journey off the island to pursue her university degree, her heart never strayed far from her homeland. Living in different corners of Canada broadened her perspective and enriched her artistic vision, leaving an indelible mark on her work.
Today, Monica resides back on Vancouver Island with her loving family, drawing endless inspiration from the beauty that surrounds her.
