Welcome Valeria Mravyan!
We are thrilled to welcome Kleinburg, Ontario artist Valeria Mravyan to the gallery!
Mravyan was born in Moscow Russia, where she studied art, composition, and textile design, earning her Master’s degree. She has experimented with a wide array of mediums, including acrylic paint, oil paint, watercolours, oil pastels, and mixed media. Her work has been exhibited across Canada, the United States, Europe, and Japan.
“I am very lucky to be able to paint every day. My colors are my music. They allow me to express the emotions of excitement and happiness, disappointment and sorrow, the warmth of a bright autumn day, the purity of a cold winter morning or the hope of a grey city evening. My paintings reflect the musical rhythms of the universe with its equal parts pain and joy.”
Mravyan moved to Canada in the early 1990s and is inspired by her natural surroundings. She captures the vibrant colours, shimmering light, and beauty of the Canadian landscape and blends it with her own impression and unique style.
Stop by the gallery to check out her new work or contact us for more information and private viewing availability. World-wide shipping is available.
