Originally born in Nova Scotia, Haba grew up in Medicine Hat, Alberta before making the move to in Vancouver to live and work.
With a BFA under her belt from Vancouver’s Emily Carr University of Art & Design, she works primarily with acrylic paint and pigmented inks on wood panel, using line-drawing and scrape-away techniques to create movement and energy.
Her interest focuses on the life of objects and how their energy, stagnant or spirited, bridges time.
